The client

Surrey Marble and Granite are Surrey’s leading supplier of marble, granite, limestone and quartz worktop, flooring and bathrooms interiors.

 

The task

Surrey Marble and Granite originally approached us back in 2011 to help them develop a new website to showcase their business.

Their current site was very outdated, wasn’t generating them any online sales or enquiries, and most of their current products were not listed on their website

They were looking for a sleek professional website to showcase their products.

What we did

Back in 2011, we designed and developed a new website showcasing the range of marble, granite and quartz worktops.

Soon after launch, SMG reproached us as they had seen an initial jump in enquiries via the newly designed site. Our goal was originally to support the launch of a new website, which became an ongoing month retainer for SEO work.

After a successful first year of growth and enquiries generated via the SEO, we expanded the digital marketing campaign with Google Ad services and some social media community building.

The result

Our key points of interest were increasing enquiries from the website by generating more organic traffic through the full range of SEO and digital marketing techniques.

Since initially launching the new website and subsequent inbound marketing strategy, the business has seen an increase each month in new enquiries and year on year.

Over the last 12 months we have successfully increased organic traffic for the site by more than 53%  through a combination of the right on page and off page SEO techniques. Identifying the best return on investment, using keywords allowed us not to sink resources into landing pages which wouldn’t deliver users with the right intent.

We’ve been working consistently with Surrey Marble and Granite since 2011 and continue to work with them. We’re completing a new revision of their website, improving the user journey and developing a stone selector tool to help users choose a stone colour and brand.
