The Venues Collection is made up of seven conference venues located in the UK. With an array of both contemporary and historic meetings space, they are the ideal choice for comfortable, stress-free events from an intimate boardroom meeting to an expansive conference or exhibition.
In 2018 the Compass Group acquired a number of conference hotel venues, as this was the Groups first hotel venture, they needed a marketing agency who could not only proved the digital infrastructure – websites, digital marketing, PPC optimisation – but also one that could help create a brand ideationally and cohesion between the different properties. That is when boxChilli was approached.
boxChilli worked with the new Board of Directors to create a homogenised brand identity, under The Venues Collection, such as logos, colours, tone of voice, as well as building eight new websites that would appeal to the target demographic, while integrating with booking engines and newsletter marketing software.
There was a need to pivot quickly due to the nature of the business and following boxChilli’s appointment in April the new websites were launched in time for the 2018 Christmas party booking window.
Following the launch of the websites, boxChilli engaged in ongoing SEO for each website. This activity has insured that The Venues Collections ranks in position one for the majority of their associated keywords and search terms.
